We like to think that anyone choosing to use a Havwoods product is onto a winner, but we now we can announce our first four customers who have managed to win twice over by entering our Win-Win competition.
Dan Mason wanted reclaimed timber units for his kitchen but couldn’t find them anywhere, so instead he turned to Havwoods and used our Solid Reclaimed Pine to create units and a feature wall, then extended his creativity with Reclaimed Oak Cladding panels to clad the kitchen table and benches. Both products from our Vertical collection.
Marc Barnes used a character grade oak from Venture Plank to create a bespoke jigsaw puzzle floor for a child’s bedroom in Reading. First the boards were biscuit jointed together and MDF templates made to create the pattern, then 37 individual pieces were cut out and pieced together to create the floor. We think this is a very lucky two-year old!
Blank Creatives chose Alabastro and Bronzo chevrons from our Italian collection to clad the coffee counter and walls of this wonderfully lively cafe in St Leonards, Sydney, and to create tops for the bespoke large communal tables. Then they echoed the chevron pattern on areas of the ceiling and in the soft floor coverings.
And finally, in category D: retail, office, leisure and outdoor projects, the judges felt that Tara Dennis showed great empathy in her choice of a rustic grade herringbone from Design for this Brisbane jeweller’s fit out.
All winners will receive an Apple iPad Air and a place in the final with a chance to win a holiday.
Our congratulations and thanks to all entrants – we have seen some wonderful designs and the choice of winners has created lively debate! Remember to keep your entries coming in: our next cut-off date is 31st August 2016 https://www.havwoods.co.uk/the-win-win-competition-from-havwoods/
