What do Birmingham’s most expensive apartments and Cardiff’s trendy Mexican eatery have in common? Oak Karkor from our Henley range, of course.

A functional 1930’s brick building in Birmingham’s city centre has been transformed into 19 stylish loft apartments. Despite causing controversy at the planning stage, this 4,000 square foot show apartment sold long before completion, and for a figure which made it the most expensive apartment in Birmingham. Call us biased, but we really do think the flooring played a big part.

Meanwhile, the same smoked plank is a big feature of Cardiff’s colourful and vibrant Wahaca, winner of the 2015 Restaurant and Bar Awards Best Multiple Restaurant. Two totally different interior design styles, same stylish plank courtesy of Havwoods.
