Designed by renowned architect Rafael Viñoly, 20 Fenchurch Street is another visually exciting addition to London’s amazing skyline. But not only is it good to look at, it’s great to look out from too, with a sky garden spanning the top three floors and providing uninterrupted views across the city. If you can drag your gaze from the view and focus on the decor you may notice beautiful flooring in both restaurants, and they’re all courtesy of Havwoods. The designers were looking for a dark herringbone and a grey plank, and deadlines were tight. Our Venture Plank Oak Fendi provided the perfect solution for the latter, whilst an unfinished solid oak chevron with a square edge, Oak Buckden Hall, was selected in place of herringbone and was stained on site to the required colour.
The Sky Garden opens on 5th January and booking lines are now open.
Meanwhile, just a few floors down in the same building, these very stylish, insurance company offices feature floors in our Henley Oak Fossil, both in a plank and as a chevron batten.
