Purchasing Manager
Reporting into the Global Purchasing & Operations Director, the Purchasing Manager will be responsible for and actively contribute to the control of the Cash-flow positions through management of Stock levels, turn and forecasting. They will drive strategic improvements in the management and availability of key products, and categories allowing for greater commercial opportunities and improved service delivery.
The role is responsible for maintaining adequate stock levels and for raising purchase orders for the stock items. The role holder will have to have an eye for detail and be able to use their judgement in order to keep fast moving stock at the correct levels. They are responsible to record KPI’s which will clearly show the effectiveness of the role and will assist management in making clear decisions. Alongside this primary role there are a number of smaller sub-roles which are of equal importance. Requirements include an excellent telephone manner and the ability to liaise professionally with suppliers and sales personnel.
Purchasing Assistant
Reporting into the Purchasing Manager (North America), the Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for maintaining adequate stock levels and for raising purchase orders for the stock items. The role consists of supporting both the sales and operations teams, from product enquiries stage to delivery. This role also includes assisting the Purchasing Manager with lead time queries, supplier queries and ensuring Purchase Orders are delivered on time in full.
The role holder will have to have an eye for detail and be able to use their judgement in order to keep fast moving stock at the correct levels. The role holder will also have to be tenacious, highly organized, and competent in order to resolve materials issues related to customer service in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of the customer. Requirements include the ability to liaise professionally with supplier and sales personnel.
Showroom Consultant - Guildford
The Havwoods Showrooms are the most crucial touchpoint where the company delivers an outstanding Havwoods Customer Experience. This role holds the responsibility, together with the Senior Showroom Consultant, of ensuring every aspect of the showroom is performing to the highest possible quality standards and as effectively as possible. The position holder will be the face of the Havwoods brand and is equipped with first-hand product and technical knowledge to serve the Havwoods customers at the highest quality standard. The position holder will always harness the ability to deliver the high quality and positive Havwoods Customer Experience to its customers.
