The exhibition at the heart of the London Design Festival was a resounding success all round, with a record attendance, interesting seminars and creative stands.
It was our first time at 100% Design, but it’s unlikely to be our last.
Whilst they may not have known it at the time, visitors to the exhibition were actually greeted by Havwoods’ products, after we were approached by the organizers to be included in the stunning clash of colours and textures which was this year’s entrance tunnel. We didn’t lay a trail of breadcrumbs from there to our stand, but a highly gratifying number found their way to us anyway. Indeed, we were phenomenally busy with a steady flow of visitors who came to browse and a significant proportion who stayed to discuss specific projects.
With a portfolio of many, many hundreds of products, obviously we were only able to exhibit a very small proportion. As always, samples from our Relik and Graphic ranges generated a great deal of interest, as did Vertical, decking and Trapa, where 9m long, 420mm wide Douglas Fir planks caused quite a stir.
Over 30,000 visitors were expected at this year’s 100% Design, and from where we were it looked like all that and more. If you were one who made it to our stand, we hope you found it both interesting and informative. If you didn’t, we look forward to seeing you next year if not sooner.
