Berkeley Homes take Best Mixed-Use Development in WhatHouse? awards.
The Best Mixed-Use Development category analyses the best mixed-use schemes from around the country with Berkeley Homes’ Fulham Reach taking Gold due to its regeneration of a former distillery into 744 new homes, including 186 affordable homes, all set within 3.7 acres of landscaped gardens and parkland. The development also features over 41,000 sq ft of commercial space, a new boat club, managed underground parking, an outstanding selection of residents’ leisure and entertainment facilities including a spa with jacuzzi and steam room, gymnasium, 15 metre swimming pool, virtual golf simulator, private screening room, full size snooker room and temperature controlled wine cellar.
We are delighted to have supplied Berkeley Homes with numerous phases on this development. From the outset FSC® certification was mandatory, with colour a key issue. Our extremely wide range has been of great benefit, providing different budget options from a single source, as have our stock levels, enabling the site to draw from these when schedules were altered. Furthermore, we have been pleased to supply bespoke thicknesses on some products to provide consistency throughout the site.
